About the series
48 Hours is a long-running true-crime series built on original reporting and impact journalism. We investigate compelling criminal cases, revisit cold files, and have helped secure exonerations and new leads. The program has been honored with multiple Peabody Awards, Emmys, RTNDA Edward R. Murrow Awards and the Alfred I. duPont–Columbia University Award. The show airs Saturdays at 10/9c on CBS and streams on Paramount+. Our 38th season premiered on September 27, 2025.
