MDA also reported an impact in Tel Aviv where a man was treated for glass-shrapnel injuries, and a woman in Petah Tikva suffered serious shrapnel wounds east of Tel Aviv. Emergency teams were working at impact sites in Haifa and other locations.

Iranian state media reported that Sharif University of Technology in Tehran was struck in airstrikes. Reports said strikes hit a gas station near the university, causing a temporary gas outage in the Sharif neighborhood.

Sayed Reza Salihi-Amiri, Iran’s minister of cultural affairs and tourism, told the Associated Press that President Trump is an “unstable, delusional figure marked by a set of contradictions.” His remarks followed Trump’s weekend warnings that if no peace deal with Iran is reached in 48 hours “we’re blowing up the entire country,” and an earlier ultimatum for Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz to international shipping. Trump also warned that if the strait was not fully opened by Tuesday, “you’ll be living in Hell.” Salihi-Amiri said of the Strait of Hormuz that “it is open to the world, but closed to Iran’s enemies.”
