March 7, 2026 — The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of certain HALO Magic Sleepsuits after reports that the zipper head can detach, creating a potential choking hazard for infants. The company sold the affected sleepsuits through its own website and through major retailers, including Amazon, Walmart and Target.
CPSC records show at least 15 reports of the zipper head separating from the garment; no injuries have been reported. About 45,000 sleepsuits are included in the recall. The recalled items are identified by batch codes PO30592, PO30641 and PO30685 and were sold between September 2025 and February 2026.
Consumers who own a sleepsuit with one of the listed batch codes should stop using it immediately and follow the recall instructions posted on HALO’s website. The CPSC and HALO advise returning the product through the company recall process to receive store credit rather than discarding the item.
For more information or to confirm whether a sleepsuit is included in the recall, visit the HALO website or contact HALO customer service. Parents and caregivers with concerns can also consult the CPSC recall notice for additional guidance.
