The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures opens an exhibition titled Marilyn Monroe: Hollywood Icon, showcasing her films, fashion, photography and the crafted celebrity persona that endures more than six decades after her death. The package also highlights the new book Marilyn: The Lost Photographs, The Last Interview and conversations with archivists and scholars preserving her film presence. The exhibition runs May 31, 2026–Feb. 28, 2027.
