Israeli authorities reported a missile attack in central Israel on Tuesday. The Israel Defense Forces said military emergency responders were dispatched “to scenes where reports of impacts have been received in the center of the country.” Israel’s national emergency service, Magen David Adom, said its teams were “on scene in central Israel following a missile attack. Minor injuries reported.”

Authorities in Dubai said emergency responders extinguished a fire involving a Kuwaiti oil tanker in the emirate’s waters after a drone struck the vessel identified as Anchorage “E.” Maritime firefighting teams brought the blaze under control, the Dubai Media Office said. Officials reported no injuries and said all 24 crew members aboard the tanker were accounted for. —ABC News’ Jason Volack and Joe Simonetti
Earlier, the UK Maritime Trade Operations Centre reported a tanker was struck by an “unknown projectile” about 31 nautical miles northwest of Dubai, near the Strait of Hormuz. Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said a Kuwaiti crude oil tanker was damaged and was fully loaded at the time. The UKMTO said all crew members are safe, no environmental impact has been reported, and the incident is under investigation, advising vessels to “transit with caution.”
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said she believes President Donald Trump “would be quite interested in calling” on Middle East allies such as Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to pay for the costs of the war in Iran. “I won’t get ahead of him on that.
