Actress Tori Spelling was involved in a two-vehicle collision Thursday evening in southern Riverside County and, according to her manager, was taken to the hospital along with four of her children, a representative told CBS LA.
The crash happened at about 5:45 p.m. near the 28000 block of Rancho California Road in Temecula, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies who responded found both vehicles showing collision damage.
Law enforcement officials said all occupants of both cars were medically evaluated at the scene and that, initially, the sheriff’s office had no reports of hospitalizations. Spelling’s manager said she and her four children were transported to a hospital in three ambulances with varying injuries.
“No arrests were made, and the cause of the collision remains under investigation,” the Riverside County deputies said.
Spelling is known for her work on Beverly Hills, 90210 and in Scary Movie 2, as well as the reality series Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood with her former husband Dean McDermott. She has written six memoirs, including a New York Times bestseller. A Los Angeles native, she is the daughter of producer Aaron Spelling and author Candy Spelling.
