Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said the Trump administration expanded efforts to revoke the citizenship of certain foreign‑born Americans accused of obtaining it through fraud. Blanche told CBS News immigration correspondent Camilo Montoya‑Galvez, “There are a lot of individuals who are citizens who shouldn’t be.” He said the Justice Department has pursued denaturalization cases to strip citizenship from people who allegedly lied or concealed material facts during naturalization.
