U.S. Soccer and Nike on Monday introduced the national team’s new uniforms for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, unveiling two primary jerseys—Stars and Stripes—and a fresh goalkeeper kit. The men’s team is expected to debut the new uniforms later this month in Atlanta, per U.S. Soccer.
Nike said players helped shape the designs, weighing in on fabric weight, seam placement, breathability and freedom of movement so the kits prioritize performance. U.S. Soccer described an “Inner Pride” mark stitched into each collar to represent the motivation players bring to the field, and the federation also commissioned new Stars and Stripes typefaces for use across kits and branding.
The launch campaign features Haji Wright, Diego Luna, Folarin Balogun, Alyssa Thompson and Rose Lavelle. U.S. Soccer and Nike said men’s and women’s players will continue to work with the brand as preparations ramp up toward the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
The jerseys will be offered in an authentic match version with the same performance technology worn by players, and a lower-cost stadium version for fans. Both will be sold online and at retailers nationwide ahead of the tournament.
The 2026 World Cup runs June 11 through July 19 with matches in host cities across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Designers told U.S. Soccer they looked to past kits for inspiration—citing the 2012 Waldo look and the stripe style from the 1994 World Cup—aiming to honor tradition while refreshing the visual identity.
